I have written in a number of legal advice columns and have provided such advice in other formats. I have posted columns in small community based newspapers, and was the Lowell Sun’s “ask the expert” in bankruptcy. I have done work for various employer financed “legal insurance” companies, where, advice was part of the program. Now that my office does taxes, I find that I enjoy is chatting with clients about their other legal issues while doing their taxes.
I still write from time to time for various legal fora such as AVVO and LawQA. These are things that I do on my free time, so I do not get to do them as often as I would like. However, it is something that I enjoy and it does give me material that I post in my blog or on my office’s Facebook page. Sometimes I blog about what people are asking questions about. Like with everything else, I try to keep my answers to my main areas of practice; personal injury, bankruptcy, and immigration. While I am capable of answering questions in other areas, these are not areas of law that I enjoy, so I restrict myself to personal injury, bankruptcy and immigration. Although my answers are floating around in cyber space somewhere, the place to look for my most recent answers is my blog.
